Kotoura (琴浦町 Kotoura-chō ) is a town located in Tōhaku District, Tottori, Japan. Bordering it are the towns of Daisen to the left, Kōfu to the south, Hokuei to the east, and the city of Kurayoshi to the southeast.
Kotoura was formed on September 1, 2004 by the merger of the towns of Tōhaku and Akasaki, both from Tōhaku District.
As of October 1, 2006, the town has an estimated population of 13,355 and a density of 95.46 persons per km². The total area is 139.90 km².
